Citizens in Ladonia
Ladonia has now more than 10.000 registered citizens. Most of them come from Sweden, all other countries are shown here. The list from the last Herald is updated and corrected in several details. As you can see Ladonia has citizens from 102 different countries. It is important to stress that we do not accept applications asking for visa, jobs and housing. This has been, and still is a problem, during the last month. We have hade more than 500 applications from Nigeria. It is not possible to receive visa for going to Ladonia.

Minister Mitchell and Performing the National Anthem in Sydney

Ladonia Minister of Extraterrestial Oceans, BJ Mitchell, has made a trip around the globe, performing the national anthem (that is throwing a stone into water) at different places, Australia, Thailand, United Kingdom... He reports:

“I am pleased to announce that I have successfully completed the first Ladonian Expedition to circumnavigate the Earth. I completed the trip at approximately 1335 Eastern Standard Time today by landing at Baltimore Washington International Airport - my starting place back on 9 October.

The Beer and the Beer Song
Ladonia’s Minister of Beer did not create the typical Ladonia Old Brew, this is a nice work by our Minister of Future Science James Hartman. He is also the composer of the Beer Drinking Song to be sung when consuming the beverage:

"Raise your Stein (Stone) to the Waaaalll."
Dink up up up, (um pa going on) til
you fall. The beer flows green (add dye at this
point), (Swing your Steins) waaalll, waaalll, waaalll,

Extraordinary results of the Malmoe Research Group
The Ladonian artist Lisbeth van Deurs from Denmark arranged the team in the University of Malmoe to make research on Ladonian issues. The result is, to say the least, astonishing. We strongly recommend you to visit the website http://webzone.k3.mah.se/kit02043/ladonia/newsletter.html

Here you will find Ladonian folksong and costume, animals (including the circle animal: Satis constat hoc animal hominem quemquam ac animal aliud esse circumvallandum et saepe eos devorandum. Ergo periculosissimum vere est. Cave itaque animal circulum! Frater de Consiliis.), children’s tales and much more.

At Last: The 100 Oertug Bill
The 100 Oertug Bill
The 100 Oertug Bill

Our Minister of Underwater Relations, Pablo Linares, has created the 100 Oertug Bill. To this day Ladonia has only had the 01 Oertug (value $ 9,1). He inform us:

After some researching and hard work designing, an idea that first came to my mind and, thanks to Minister and Ambassador Adrian Suarez (for his aid and skills), now this idea became a Reality.

We are now presenting to the ladonian cabinet, the first ÖRTUG BILL....on a 100 örtugs denomination.
This note portrays several things that belong to our ladonian way of thinking.

1) The effigy on the bill note, is that of our beloved and respected Lars Vilk, Secretary of State, with a defying and challenging stare.

2) Unnumbered Bill: This bill has no numeration at all (collaboration from Ministry of Unnumbered Things). Do not search for palindromos.
Also gives you the opportunity to pay without marked bills.

3) One-Side Bill: It's more economic to print, with the unprinted side with adhesive-multipurpose surface. Just like post-it. You could use
it to fix things or just post it somewhere where you don't lose it.
Interesting Note: you could paste two of them and make a 200 Örtug bill...!!!

4) Watermark represents Ladonia's Coat of Arms, and the Nation's slogan appears bellow "PROUD - FREE - INTERACTIVE"
(Nothing like "In Lars we Trust..")

5) The bill mentions Mike Arman...minister of Finance.

6) The Örtug could be nominated the most Devaluated Money of the World, and could give Ladonia MEGAINFLATION since all of the
citizens could emit their own money....ain't that cool??

The Ladonian Flag
Is this a flag for the Ministry of the Dark Side, or is it about the Ladonia flag? Anyway it is a perfect creation by Minister Carlos André. (The correct one is the one with a green cross)

Which is the Ladonia flag?
Which is the Ladonia flag?

Ant Problems
Minister of Madness, Wenche Blomberg has a suggestion concerning the debate in the cabinet on ants:

“We had a dispute going recently on how to get along with ants. I usually mash them right there. But it struck my mind that there may be occasions when ants are so numerous that one would need alternative strategies, i.e. try to trick them off by using a passport specially designed to attract ants´ attention (and perhaps other creepy, hairy, slimy and spooky creatures as well) and paralyze them just long enough for you to slip away. Such an article would be a blessing to all paranoid and haunted Ladonians as well as a smashing hit for export to the world.”

Minister of Future Hope
Minister of Future Hope Rui D’Sousa has made an interview in a Portuguese newspaper. Among other things he answered this question:

- What is the Future that you foresee for Ladonia has a virtual country?

”Brilliant. In a certain way, Ladonia stands for what is best in this small planet, i think that many of the "real" states should look at Ladonia and try to learn a bit with us. About our "virtuality", it’s a bit dubious question, its true that our government work in the virtual space, but its a fact that we have legit territorial pretensions, its also a fact that due to this pretensions we are at war with Sweden (pacific war, of course).

The time will come when humanity will choose Ladonia model, we shall
live then a new era in civilization, one era of civilization.”

Ladonia in Peru
Ladonia has now established 1 square km of ground in Peru. This generous gift was made by the Ladonian citizen Oscar Fernández who confirms:

“Recuerdo la promesa de un kilometro cuadradro en Perù, estoy a su disposiciòn y me
gustarìa saber sobre las ideas ò proyectos que tenga en mente, el terreno
esta disponible para Ladonia.”

AT THE END OF THE DAY
A word from our Minister of Health

THE UNCONSCIOUS AND BEYOND CONSCIOUSNESS.
Transpersonal Psychology, allegedly the crown of East-West integration, according to my limited experience, seems to include an abundance of treatises on psychology, philosophy, and spirituality all over the West, Tibet, India, and the Far East. But, all based on exoteric literature, not esoteric knowledge. It remains forever struggling with consciousness, which it fails to separate from the Godhead. All endeavours seem to amount to One Atman, in our fullest evolution we are thought to realise that somehow sacrificing illusions about ourselves as separate entities will bring us eternal bliss which to my mind falls quite close to a regression back to participation mystique subject to the pre/trans fallacy axe which Ken Wilber so mercilessly swings around in most modern theories on psychology. (The p/t-fallacy: Belief that man evolves from the lower, is likely to deny spiritual experience /e.g. Freud/. Belief that man has a spiritual origin is likely to confuse regression and loss of ego with spiritual experience (e.g. New Age) (Eye to Eye, 1996). The world famous modern Processwork Psychology maybe thinks following natural processes will guarantee a safe lead around this fallacy, but I am not so sure, it would amount to admitting that certain clients need to regress, and then considering the process-wisdom that if only one person follows his process, all will benefit (Mindell A, Rivers Way, 1985), we end up in a very complex situation. To circumvent the invitation to chaos involved, I strongly feel we need to distinguish between a Group Mind in us, and Individual Mind. They just might have very different destinies. Without this separation, we could run into a process-fallacy.
If our total being would satisfy various parts of some group mind, our identities would very likely be conditioned rather than results of free choice, and we could easily turn out as city shadows, crazy teachers, whatever that would mean. We might strongly believe we had to live just that. Again, whatever it really means. I think, as long as there is no pivoting individual destiny, no stronger individuality, it could mean that every street bum, drug addict, hit-man, rapist, racist, sexist, terrorist, ordinary murderer, Middle East ethnic daughter murderer, machete-gangster, you name it, could be taken as our wise teacher, and that is probably not quite what Rumi had in mind in his famous Guest House poem (lovingly invite what comes, it's to teach you·).

„If you want to know this, do this‰ (Ken Wilber, quote in 'The Spirit of Science, ed. David Lorimer, 1997, p 24). I have accidentally published (sic; theTao! As the processworkers exclaim whenever something moves them), and earlier described on the string my almost silly dice experiments for you, the same kind many have tried and marvelled at, to indicate how will works in a realm beyond physical instruments, and without them. This phenomenon cannot be overestimated in understanding the psyche.
It is time we turn to a part of the world not usually mentioned in connection with the perennial philosophies Central Asia where it actually survived, in the sense that esoteric knowledge was brought out from that region a hundred years ago (See e.g. Bennett JG, Witness, Bennett Books, 1997).
Esoteric perennial philosophy indicates a purpose for the creation of man in Zoroastrian scriptures, „for assisting the good forces‰ whatever the symbolic expression, his existence matters. Exactly for what?
Man as he usually is, ordinary man, lives in a very low place, far from this mystery, has many identities, and doesn't even notice how they replace one another like a bunch of disagreeing back-seat drivers in a motor-car all the while struggling for a few minutes behind the wheel. Such an ordinary man proudly ascribes to himself free will. In reality, he is just an arbitrary part of a social field so amply described by Processwork Psychology (and unfortunately seeing nowhere beyond this). Often the Œevolved human state is described as an ability to shuffle between these roles. Likewise, in perennial philosophy, this is a way to begin experiencing reality and wake up to ones illusions about oneself. But to actually be able to enter another and see the real needs of the other is a very difficult and advanced art hence too, very wisely, we only follow a person's process, without any interpretations whatsoever.

In looking for „inner contradictions‰ last Sunday, a young woman played her professional role as a flat road-killed animal, while her liveliness danced about as inaccessible colour blobs. This is what so easily happens, life energy goes out of our humdrum existence, and a dull mechanical energy is all that remains that one which allows us to function without paying attention, like inner chemical processes or driving a car while at the same time being engaged in maybe small talk conversation. And this is how many adults already die in their twenties, to spend the rest of their lives as robots. By the force of social momentum only, however, such people can become very successful, and the more conformist and mainstream and less eccentric they are the better, they will run multinational companies, terrorist networks, compile learned books and perform the right kind of art 'in vogue', and win the Nobel prize even, while in reality, they are quite dead.
Life energy, sensitivity, is something much higher than the auto-pilot existence described above or the chemical and mechanical operations in our bodies. It is there, or not there, and we don't quite see how it arrives and leaves, but we sure know the difference. At the same time it is divinely uncomplicated, spanned between our likes and dislikes, a simple „yes‰ and „no‰ world. All life knows its favourite habitat, and is selective in this way.

Beyond the splendour of life energy comes the power to renounce immediate gratification, which is desire, the desire to change, to find something better or find something else. But we may be pulled in two directions, towards the here and now as it already is, and towards an essence deeper in ourselves, to access creativity. The energy of desire, to have this or to have that, high or low, confused or firm, is in esoteric terminology named conscious energy, able to command the yes/no world of sensitivity. It can establish deeper meaningful relationships. This part of the psyche lies beyond life, it is the first genuinely spiritual realm we will encounter, and it is usually little developed. Here is the seat of character. People without individual character belong to a "type" and follow their sensitivity within cultural confines, in group mind.
>From this level, however, the next may look like Unity of All, with no definite you, no definite me, where all seem to share everything, the same knowledge, the same social field, the same non-local experience but it is not that simple. Our consciousness cannot differentiate what might lie beyond it, and be its master, and thus consciousness also becomes a barrier, and a barrier which seems to include God even, it makes us believe we are united with God!

To find our true deeper selves, we must pass through this barrier of consciousness itself, to that which can direct our desires. When desires are fixed in character, like in animal species, we still share something with the animal kingdom. To fully assume our human nature, this needs to be transcended.
The master of desire is free will free, not conditioned, by no group field or anything which is everybody's (actual or potential) very own contribution to the universe, as required in the Zoroastrian texts. This contribution is bound not so much with our temporal fate as with our eternal destiny, it is potential, always there in the 'now'.

Before taking action, we cannot know our deeper selves. In order to undertake the hard work involved, to find our creativity, we must already have something, to make us believe in it. So there is the Tao, by following its calling, we might be given what we need. The Tao can be named in different ways, also as Sacred Influences. In his book, Seven ways of Work, J.G. Bennett names one of these ways ŒHelp. Much of the perennial is about understanding eternity. Our life myths, from childhood dreams to old age struggles, must be unfolded in the here and now, to reach eternity.
And what could be the master of free will if not Love? But how could we ever understand the full depth of Love before we begin to understand our deeper selves?

Many levels of being are described in perennial philosophy. Each is a "world". Thus, our bodies belong to the world of things, or the world of physics. Life in us belongs to "the next world", or the world of spirits. It's no coincidence that Processwork Psychology is based precisely on modern physics and on shamanism, besides its Jungian, slightly styled origin (to say the least). After the world of spirits follows the first truly spiritual world, with energies higher than Life, the world of possibilities, the place of the Self Archetype, beyond time and space. This is the highest level our consciousness can reach. Here we could develop creative ability, rather than fix our performance according to character. And beyond is the Unfathomable, Love, Bodhisattwas, Arhats, Christ-like souls, not even to begin to speak about God.
Interestingly, CR and NCR are not defined according to different levels of being, but according to consensus with highly arbitrary boundaries. Provided the perennial philosophies are true, both could reach astonishing riches and possibilities. But even if all the 'unconscious' would be conquered, 'beyond consciousness' still would remain an entirely different realm.
Put very simply, if we have free will, there will be nothing to stop us - save for what we have not been talking about yet, the all permeating, reconciling, and directing Divine Love, synonymous with the 'Holy Ghost', so refined that we cannot feel it directly in any remote or low place in eternity. The suffering and humiliation of Christ is a metaphor about becoming prepared for this extremely refined and powerful energy. It is not for us to try, struggling as we are at best on the first spiritual level, of consciousness, albeit higher than Life with associated archaic worlds of ghosts.
Although entering a spiritual path, by the action of Tao or synchronicity, reduces thwarting events associated with fates of other people, hazard is always present. Without hazard unconditioned free will is not possible. If development goes wrong on the conscious level, a dangerous hasnamuss (in persian, 'shit-soul') may result, somebody like the former Soviet Union's leading henchmen or important figures in the present Islamic network. Such a soul cannot advance further without returning all the way back to the ordinary crowd, and the ordinary crowd has no "crazy teacher" to be found in him.

On the path of ascent, we may find the elevated as well as the evil, but by far the bulk of events and strivings around us pertain to ordinary man, prone to living through his auto-pilot, habitual preferences, and cultural code, and I think the marvellous collected experiece of Processwork might perhaps one day be used to corroborate this view.
The fate of ordinary man is very different from that of ascending man, and that is linked with the purpose he was created for.
This esoteric knowledge has not been given to me, I have dug it out myself, and I am thus free to pass it on as I feel fit.
Yours forever, Emanuel von Bock, Minister of Health
