The Election: A word from the Interim President

Filed under: Election 2010 — Lars Vilks @ 11:18 am

The Interim President, Minister of Art & Jump, Fredrik Axwik is one of the candidates in the president election. He sends these words to our citizens:

“My Fellow Ladonians:

Waaaaaaaaaaalllll!

I don’t need to tell you that we live in inclement times. The savage winds of winter strain the very fibers of Nimis. The gales of international regression bring countless drifts of woe unto our fair nation, stressing the depths of our resolve and plastering a slick rime of uncertainty upon our nice green flag. But in this sunless season, I say to you that there is Light……there is Hope…..there is a road to a fairer dawn. All one need to do is Jump.

Now, I know my opponents will try to paint me as a charlatan… But I am not disheartened by such rash speculation, because I know that I share the same fundamental values as you, the Ladonian electorate. Have we not supped from the same Roast Beast? Have we not stood elbow-to-elbow? Have we not, as free men and women, stood under the beatific light of the Ladonian moon? Yes, I have looked into your eyes, as you have looked into mine. Es muy simpatico. And when the question is asked, as it has been since the beginning of this election, “Quien es mas macho?”, you know and I know that there has never been any real question.

And so your decision is clear. Vote with your liver! Vote with your spleen! Vote with your heart……..not the halting and self-recriminating heart of a Monday morning, but the wild, exuberant heart of a Friday afternoon! Elect the only candidate who can handle the darkness, who knows the darkness, and who has a strobe-light belt buckle and extra batteries. Dance with me unto a new day for Ladonia, crash upon the beanbag chairs of prosperity, and rise to the sumptuous migas of a Ladonian future free from international interference or moral scrutiny…..free from judgment, guilt or shame.

Vote for the jumping President!

Jump artfully!

Jump now!!

Go ahead, and jump!!!

I thank you.”

It is much better to vote on the net in the election for new president. Going to Ladonia is not a very good idea right now. But the state secretary made an expedition.

President election candidate no 4

Filed under: Election 2010 — Lars Vilks @ 2:18 pm

Candidate no 4 is Minister Daniel Kong. He presents himself and his program:

“I present you my candidacy for President of Ladonia,
I promise I’m gonna do absolutely nothing productive and If you vote me the first thing I’m gonna do is to create the official holiday “multiorgasmic week” for the enjoyment of all ladonian citizens.
It will be unlawful to not have at least one orgasm in the mentioned week.

If you give me your votes, I will declare an official day of “Do whatever you wanna do” some kind of antimartial law, all laws and obligations(but not your rights) would get suspended for an hour (researchers have demostrated that a longer period of time would be too much fun and we could never get back from the ecstatic plane).

And of course we will commemorate the “Pillow War”, only clean and new pillows will be accepted to this honourable commemoration day.

The economy of the new Ladonia would be based on Natural Economy (In tone with the color of the flag) the rebirth of the bartering system with the slight introduction of the random pricing, prices would be randomly selected after a series of Rock-Paper-Scissors games.
And as a definitive solution to poverty I already introduced to you the “Do whatever you wanna do” day, which includes the “steal as much as you can” minute, it would be an natural regulation of the economy by the active participation of the minority. As you can see it is a multifunctional day and useful day…

So, that’s is folks, vote me and I’ll give you heaven.
Daniel Pablo Kong
Minister of Unbearable and Subterfuges, Fraudulent Activities and Multiorgasmic Affairs.”
