Anschluss - joining

Filed under: Election 2010, Events in Ladonia, War — Lars Vilks @ 4:39 pm

On the 31st of July 1980 the project Nimis started. In 1996 Ladonia was proclaimed a free country. On Saturday Nimis will be 30 years. As a part of the celebration an election will take place. Ladonia is still at war with Sweden. A way to end this is to vote for or against Sweden joining Ladonia (Anschluss). Sweden is a mulicultural country so we think it is quite in order to let everyone vote. The voting will take place in Ladonia but also on the net. If Saturday will be a rainy day the voting can be postponed to Sunday, 1st of August. We will give a message about this later.
The Minister of Art & Jump will make a celebration protest jump. Ladonia president will be present.

10 Years

Filed under: War, Coming Up — Lars Vilks @ 8:14 pm

The celebration of Ladonia 10 years will take place on the 29th of July, starting at 12:03. Music by Neurobash, Minister of Art & Jump will jump, other ministers will also make contributions.

Politically, the world has problems with North Korea and their missiles. Ladonia is prepared to take any battle, but we expect more troubles from the Swedes than fron North Korea.

Our defence is reinforced by our new Stone Missiles.

Defenders

Bear arms, yes that is a problem. But Lisa, Minister of Mythological Beasts, has found a solution:

“I support the right to arm bears”

And so be it, Ladonia is arming its bears.

Discreet war

Filed under: War — Lars Vilks @ 12:02 pm

In the war against the US Ladonia has found a combination of fighting the battle with “Nimising” the world. The first target is the small town of Schererville in Indiana. Today it is expected 21 degrees F and cloudy in Schererville.

Plan for a successful war

Filed under: War, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 10:38 am

Minister of Finance, Mike Arman, has made this genius plan on how to win the war against Sweden:

“Here then is our two step process to conquer Sweden, once and for all, and
totally.

1) We will buy lots of cardboard, and cut out large cardboard palm trees
and large cardboard camels, paint them realistically, and scatter them
throughout Sweden.

2) We will send a forged declaration of war to George and Condi (from some
vague country that sounds like it might have major oil reserves), and give
directions to our military storage areas.

The US will at once declare war, and will immediately send millions of
soldiers, sailors, and aircrew to our military bases, which we have
cleverly disguised as US bases. (We will need a cardboard MacDonalds or
two, and some cardboard SUVs to complete this deception.)

When they arrive, all we need to do is point to Sweden and yell loudly
“They’re over there! Lets go get them!!” Since all palm trees and all
camels look the same (even cardboard ones), they will be immediately
convinced that this is (another) war of liberation, and will gleefully
charge forth to liberate the oppressed oil, er, excuse me, the oppressed
people from this fundamentalist regime.

Against this overwhelming onslaught, the Swedes will have no chance
whatsoever, they will be utterly crushed. In fact, if the whole thing takes
more than ten minutes, I think courtmartials may be in order.

The exact date for this debacle is secret, but a few words of advice are in
order for all citizens of Ladonia. If you are visiting Sweden, GET OUT NOW.
If you own anything in Sweden, SELL IT NOW. If you want anything in Sweden,
put your bids in NOW, but understand that there may not be much left of or
in Sweden afterward. We will attempt to minimize collateral damage, but if
you live within 1,000 miles of Sweden, you are well advised to stay inside
your homes, away from windows, and wear very dark sunglasses and ear plugs
for the next few days.

The clock is ticking . . . .”

War and an unexpected move

Filed under: War, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 9:21 am

The War against Sweden continues since the Swedes have destroyed our missile. The Ladonians are eager to fight, as can be heard in the words of our Minister of Mythological Beasts, Lisa:

“Hit the Wotan button! Enough decency. Nanonukes are waiting, stored in abandoned gain silos all over my continent of residence. They will hit with lots of noise and light and slightly singed confetti will shower our enemies and clog their storm drains. The Ladaonian River Keepers will need their pitch forks and shovels - and will be paid for “active duty” - but it will be worth it!
–Lisa, MfMBaSI”

Un unexpected move has been made: The occupation of Rockall Island in the Atlantic.

Sweden after the war

Filed under: War, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 12:13 am

The war between Sweden and Ladonia is soon to be over. Once Ladonia will release its secret weapon Sweden will have to accept a peace which means that the Swedes will have to give up considerable parts of what once was there country. Ladonia will not claim any Swedish soil. The landscapes in the south, Skåne, Blekinge, Halland which were Danish until 1658 will be given back to Denmark. Jämtland and Härjedalen will be given to Norway. Västerbotten will be the state of Westerbottom. The north will be divided between the samis and the swedes living there.
