Useful details in building

Filed under: The Ministers, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 5:35 pm

Openminded and generous, that is the essense of Ladonian construction. The object presented here is a good example. Space can be saved, but there is also the possibility of turning the streetlamp into a nereby flat - and thus use the lamp indoors. A good way of saving. Remember that it is necessary to warm the iron in the lamp post before you turn it.

Program for the 31st of July

Filed under: Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 6:06 pm

PRESSRELEASE: NIMIS 25 YEARS

On the 31st of July, the celebration of
Lars Vilks land art construction Nimis will take place in Kullaberg,
South of Sweden. The celebration is the end of Nimis part I (1980-2005)
and the beginning of Nimis part II (2005-2030).

In 1980, the artist
Lars Vilks started working on his Nimis (latin: too much) in the
Kullaberg nature reserve in south of Sweden. Nimis is a construction of
driftwood and rests from the cutting areas. Since the area is hard to
get to, Nimis was not discovered until 1982, when the County Council
decided that the artwork should be removed. This was the start of a
remarkable chain of court proceedings and unpredictable developments
that are still going on and seem to be without end.

During these
fighting years Nimis expanded to a huge piece. More than 100 meters of
lengths, towers about 15 meters and 25 tons of wood, Nimis became an
impressive sculpture, attracting thousands of visitors who climbed down
the slope to explore the construction. Nimis was bought by the German
conceptual artist Joseph Beuys in 1984, the price was set to USD 1500:-
In 1986, the estate of Beuys sold Nimis to Christo & Jeanne-Claude
who still owns the sculpture.

Green Giraffe

A green giraffe was observed in Ladonia. This is not too surprising as there is a tendency that most animals in Ladonia become green.

Sweden after the war

Filed under: War, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 12:13 am

The war between Sweden and Ladonia is soon to be over. Once Ladonia will release its secret weapon Sweden will have to accept a peace which means that the Swedes will have to give up considerable parts of what once was there country. Ladonia will not claim any Swedish soil. The landscapes in the south, Skåne, Blekinge, Halland which were Danish until 1658 will be given back to Denmark. Jämtland and Härjedalen will be given to Norway. Västerbotten will be the state of Westerbottom. The north will be divided between the samis and the swedes living there.

Art and Jump

Filed under: The Ministers, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 9:56 pm

Minister of Art & Jump Fredrik Axwik has created small islands in Eslöv, an art project about the forgotten greatness of Eslöv.

This minister has also found that computer problems can be solved by a prayer to St Anders of the Holy Computer:

“The other day I couldn’t access my router and therefore couldn’t reach me broadband…. MAJOR PROBLEM!

There was this little devious password involved and when I read about Pedro’s miracle I hoped I could have the same luck in my life… And behold! A few days later it came to me!! I tried and all of a sudden BINGO! I was in!

Praise Saint Anders!!!!”
