It is easy to see that things are happening in Chicago. Prince James is working hard to make that city look more like Ladonia style.

Ladonia is expanding heavily. One of our targets is Chicago at Lake Michigan. If you visit the city the skyline should these days appear different.

Prince James Hartman:

Great sadness at the Ministry of Future Science. Our
calico cat died at home at the human age of 19 & 7
months on October 19th at 7:00 PM. Having know her
half my life it has been a very strange personal loss.

express in words.

From today the mail at the ministry is divided up in three major groups, The Minister, The Ministry and The Ministry Gallery. This way the swedish mail service easily can distinguish the different operating departments and deliver the mail divided and accurately.

Now it seems that Minister Pedro’s invasion has come to an end. But what an end! His last (?) effort was to make a stunning graffiti on the UN building, the green Ladonia dragon dominating the skyline. An impressive work of art. The bad effect could be the total war against all nations…

OF WINE, PASTA, AND PIZZA, SAY CIL INFORMANTS OBSERVING THE INVASION.

PEDRO’S ROYAL MARINES HAVE DISEMINATED MISINFORMATION. THEY HAVE
SPREAD THE RUMOR THAT HIS MARCH IS A CELEBRATION PARADE FOR COLUMBUS
DAY (10 OCTOBER) AND THIS HAS PRODUCED CROWDS CHEERING THEM ON AND

GIFTS OF WINE, PASTA AND PIZZA. IN ONE LOCALE ON THE WAY TO

PEDRO’S FORCES PASSED BY.

MYSTERY. HE SHOULD BE IN WASHINGTON D.C. BY 10 OCTOBER (COLUMBUS
DAY).

I think this is great news; Pedro will probably have his march dissolved before reaching Washington, but still it is a great moment for military history. Pedro has become a hero instead of a traitor. So, take part in march in fall into the song of the marching troups:

Minister Pedro has, ordered by the cabinet to re-establish his status as Ladonian minister after his failed Coup D’Etat, made a surprising attack against the USA from Canada. From Toronto he has made his way using his fleet. As the report from minister Lisa in Ohio says:

“No loons as Pedro’s forces have moved south. Pidgeons, sparrows and mallards have taken over message relay duties. The fighting has been luke-warm as they moved through Drakes Mills and Meadville. Only one civilian was harmed and he suffered just a superficial burn trying to put out half a cigar someone tossed behind them. Through Oil City, Pedro’s valiant Ladonian Marines fought and bought their way to Clarion, Pennsylvania. (Mostly visiting convenience stores but that’s not important right now.). Gallant Pedro’s forces are primed to reach Route 80 and thus cross the Appalachian Moutains. (They rented trucks. Someone had an American Express card.) Once across, it’s straight on for Washington and will someone please warn the residents of the District of Columbia that it’s time to visit relatives in Philadelphia? The last thing our Royal Marines need is another New Orleans”.

northwest Pennsylvania!

This is very good news and for the first time the war against USA has come to a substantial battle. Not much defense from the US so far, probably taken by surprise.

Minister Pedro’s attempt to a Coup d’Etat has been investigated and Minister Sir Phil a member of the Ladonia CIL has made this statement:

CIL FINAL REPORT REGARDING THE FAILED COUP D’ETAT OF 23 SEPTEMBER, 2005

AFTER CONSIDERABLE INVESTIGATION THE CIL HAS COME TO THE CONCLUSION
THAT EX-ADMIRAL PEDRO ACTED ALONE IN PLANNING AND ORDERING THE FAILED
COUP D ‘ETAT OF 23 SEPTEMBER, 2005. THIS DECISION IS BASED BOTH ON
CLASSIFIED INTELLIGENCE AND EVIDENCE AS WELL AS THE LACK OF EVIDENCE
TO THE CONTRARY.

ONLY PEDRO’S CAT SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN WITH HIM AT THE TIME OF THE REVOLT
AND IT IS DOUBTFUL THAT HIS CAT WAS INVOLVED IN ANY WAY.

Furthermore will the 23d of September be a national holiday:

PROCLAMATION

BE IT NOW KNOWN throughout the world that 23 September shall be hereafter known as the QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY AND THE DAY OF BEER DRINKING AND THE FAILED COUP D ‘ ETAT.

AND THAT ON THIS HOLIDAY all Ladonians can engage in merryment, beer drinking, feasting, singing and dancing, and generally having a good time.
