Vice President campaigning Universal Healthcare

Filed under: Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 1:36 pm

It really is true that the USA does not know what they are doing
regarding healthcare.

If you are a billionaire, you can get the best healthcare. If you are
in the majority, working class or poor, you will get very little if any.

Here is the problem: 50,000,000 have no access to healthcare. This
prevents preventive care checkups and tests. Thus 18,000 of these
people die per year.

250,000,000 have private health insurance, but high premium and
deductable costs prevent them from receiving adequate care. This is
complied with a standard proceedure used by the insurance companies:
Denial of care due to preexisting conditions, and denial of care for
catastrophic diseases or emergencies.

The USA spends the most on healthcare and gets the least results. They
rate 37th in healthcare among nations, just above Slovenia.

The probem here is as follows: Rich healthcare and pharmaceutical
companies routinely pay lawmakers in the USA to protect their evil
interests and the members of the US Congress deliver.

As part of my campaign pledge to our citizens, I said that I would
promote Universal Healthcare in our resident nations. I will keep this
pledge. It is so easy for our citizens to pay a tax and be covered
completely, rather than to be abused by private sharks.

A new animal had unexpectedly appeared close to Arx in Ladonia. As far as we know there is no connection between the monster and the visiting artists.

State Secretary Lars Vilks was invited to an art exhibition in Tällberg, Sweden. The theme was “Dog”. State secretary decided to contribute to the exhibition with three drawings of the prophet Mohammed as a dog. His drawings were first happily accepted then refused (on the 20th of July). As pictures of the prophet are sensitive matters the event was covered by most Swedish newspapers as well as radio and TV.

The situation has brought back the discussion of freedom of speech and what is acceptable to publish.

Ladonia vice president made this statement:

“In Ladonia freedom of expression is permitted. We do not regulate art, speech, expression, religion or non-religion. The State does not practice censorship. We do not prohibit political life or freedom of association. But we do prohibit violence.

Best wishes to all -
Vice President Phil Halfhill”

The actual drawings have never been shown. Herald News can here for the first time show one of the refused drawings

Embassy in Barranquilla

Filed under: Ladonia state affairs — Lars Vilks @ 9:12 pm

Barranquilla is situated in Colombia. Our new ambassador is Luis A. Murillo Arce. He writes:

“Despite all the wrong voices and images from Colombia that are kept in mind by a lot of people arounnd the world, Colombia is a safe country. Problems with terrorist are commonly at jungle but not at cities. As you can see, Barranquilla (which is a port and trade city) is a tranquile city very appropiated to be the place of Ladonia’s Embassy. Furthermore, that is the place in which there are more than 20 consulates from many countries (including Sweden).

Sincerely yours,
honours to Your Highness The Queen and to His Excellency Mr. President

Luis A. Murillo Arce.”

The Great Transport

Filed under: Nimis, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 1:41 pm

At last it was made: The first boat transportation of wood to Ladonia. Leader of this expedition was Captain Laurell who owns a ship of admirable size. The wood, from dead elm trees, was gathered in Arild and was taken in tow to Ladonia and Nimis. Two transportation were made, on the 15th and 16th of July.

The National Museum of Art in Ladonia

Filed under: National Museum of Art, culture — Lars Vilks @ 11:18 am

The collection in the National Museum received its first artwork today. The collection will mainly concentrate on the older works in art history. But before entering the museum all pieces have to be slightly reworked to become a part of the Ladonia heritage. Actually one has to admit that the work remade is of higher quality than the original.

Prepared for Ladonia

Filed under: culture — Lars Vilks @ 1:56 pm

Her Majesty the Queen Ywonne I Jarl is very keen on bodypainting. So it seems natural to carry one when visiting Ladonia. And some of them are very tasteful and absolutely suitable for the occasion.
