Mr President

Filed under: Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 5:45 pm

As has been reported earlier Ladonia President Daniel Jiménez visited his country on the 6th of July this year. We have a couple of picture from the event.

Minister of Finance: Hangar almost ready

Filed under: Ministry stuff — Lars Vilks @ 12:19 pm

Progress report: The hangar for the Ladonian Air Force has at long last
been completed. We are awaiting the installation of electrical service
so we can open the main door (makes it easier to get the Ladonian Air
Force in and out.) The doors and windows have been installed in the
temporary headquarters building (otherwise known as “the guest house”),
and the next step is to have the block exterior installed. Then we add
wiring, plumbing and drywall, and that one is done. (Whew.) More to
follow. Building a house is hardly rocket science, but it does take
attention to detail and almost fanatical persistence. And some money.

Best Regards,

Mike Arman
Minister of Finance

It should be said that even if Ladonia will have aircrafts in the US, they will only be used for peaceful operations.

Visitors in Ladonia

Filed under: Citizens and Guests — Lars Vilks @ 12:55 pm

Even after the holidays many people are visiting Ladonia. On the 24th a new installation piece was made by unknown visitors. I would like to know more about this so if anyone can inform me about the artists I would be glad.

From Australia with love

Filed under: Citizens and Guests — Lars Vilks @ 11:02 am

Ladonia has 80 citizens living in Australia. One of them is our Minister of Procrastination Chris Mansell, also a writer.

Many Australians are visiting Ladonia. Yesterday the State Secretary spoke to a man from Australia, telling him that we often have visitors from this remote place of the world. As we spoke another man appeared. He was also from Australia.

I promised them I would give a link to a small film about Nimis and Ladonia. A film that is made by an Australian.

Filmlink (It will take some time to download it)

Neurobash, The Healers

Filed under: Sport — Lars Vilks @ 2:26 pm

The miracle happened. State secretary was injured in the beginning of this year’s soccer season. The doctor says it was his meniscus, serious trouble.

But then came Neurobash, creating a healing song. State secretary listened and played. And then he had the words from the Expert: Just grind it down, keep moving! Dancing and moving with the band’s music. Again and again!

And now he is back in the soccer game again!

If you need help in such matters, just listen to Neurobash.

Minister resigns

Filed under: The Ministers, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 6:00 pm

Minister of Future Science James Hartman, living in Indiana, US, resigned from his office on the 14th of August. The minister has been a creative force in Ladonia since 1998. He has received the title of Prince and is governing a part of Ladonia, Hartmanburg.

Although resigning he will not be able to leave his position as minister. James Hartman was Eternal Minister and such a minister will always remain. But he does not have to be active.

We will all miss him and hope that he continues to support Ladonia.

Michael Moore Honorary Citizen of Ladonia

Filed under: Citizens and Guests, Breaking News — Lars Vilks @ 7:05 pm

The Cabinet’s majority has voted for the conference of Honorary Citizenship and Honorary Knighthood upon American film maker Michael Moore for his humanitarian work through the production of the film “Sicko.”

Sir Michael Moore is bringing about long awaited change on the healthcare issue in the United States. And perhaps, due to his efforts, the USA may some day soon join the other 24 western industrialized nations that offer healthcare to their citizens as a human right. This also would protect Ladonian nationals who reside in the USA.
