In the Ladonia Biennial Carsten Höller is presenting this documentation of a deer and a woman on the Ladonian border. Deer of this kind have been seen in Ladonia during the last years. A few years ago the fence of a deer farm in Sweden and close to Ladonia was destroyed in a storm. Since then the deer can be seen in the nature reserve Kullaberg and also in Ladonia.
More information about the artist can be found on the biennial page.

The Polish artist Aleksandra Mir is creating a stunning project in the Ladonia Biennial. Her work is called Ladonia Pavilion and its content is that Ladonia will participate in the Venice Biennial with a pavilion of its own. Or rather several of them as she will bring 90 small pavilions to Venice with the 90 artists from Ladonia and Venice Biennials exhibiting in them. Each pavilion is the size of a plastic disposable cup. The artist will bring the pavilions to Venice in a boat trip from Ladonia.
The visitors in Ladonia can receive an empty pavilion when they visit. It can be used as a drinking cup or whatever the visitor wishes. More details here.

The initiative in the Ladonia Biennial by Rirkrit Tiravanija will probably be the start of a race tradition. When he gathered 11 000 virgins to run in Ladonia it was obviously something that attracted a wide audience. It is now suggested that the race “11 000 virgins” will take place every year on the second Saturday in May.
Here is the a video from Tiravanija’s art project.
